Welcome to Nidd Valley Riding Club
| Nidd Valley Riding Club was founded in 1967 by Ruth Cuthbertson and Ron Webster. The club originally met in a field belonging to John Webster on what is now the site of St James' Retail Park at Knaresborough. Nowadays, the Riding Club no longer has a permanent base but meets at various venues in the area on Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings in winter, with the Thursday afternoon session changing to Tuesday evenings through the summer months. Tuesday evenings being the time the original Riding Club always met. The Riding Club has always been for senior members as junior members are already very well catered for with several Pony Clubs in the area. The Riding Club has attracted over 100 members and covers a wide range of interests and abilities. New members are always welcome. Please click here if you are interested in joining. |
